Same limestone country as the Charco Azul day, but weighted toward the walking. More trail, more cave, fewer stops, and a smaller group.
The hike in runs through karst hill country — steep, green, riddled with sinkholes and openings the road never shows you. We move through two cave sections and come out at a waterfall.

- Boots onstart
Trailhead
Pickup, then a drive inland to where the track stops. Gear check before we walk — your guide will tell you honestly if your shoes are wrong.
- Climb+40m
Karst ascent
Up through the hills on an unmarked trail. Steep in places, muddy in others, shaded almost the whole way. Roughly forty minutes of real effort.
- Descend+1h 40m
First cave
A dry chamber with formations and a floor that drops away toward the water table. Headlamps supplied. Bats live here and will ignore you.
- Wade through+2h 30m
Water cave
Chest-deep in places, one full submersion to get past a low ceiling. This is the technical section and where the guide-to-guest ratio earns its keep.

Falls and beach
Out at a waterfall for a long swim, then to the coast to rinse in salt water before we drive back.

- This is the hardest day we sell. Forty minutes of uphill before anything fun happens.
- You will be underwater in a dark, enclosed space. Take it seriously when you book.
- Twelve and up, and everyone needs to be a confident swimmer.
- If it has rained heavily for two days we move you to another date. Water levels decide, not the calendar.
