The same rainforest day, run for your group alone. One flat price covers up to eight people, so it works out well for families and gets better the more of you there are.
Private means the schedule bends. Start earlier to beat the crowds at the waterslide, stay longer at the falls, add a lunch stop, skip the trail if somebody's knee is complaining. Tell your guide in the morning and they'll rebuild the day around it.
It's also the right call if you're travelling with small children, older parents, or anyone who'd rather not be the slowest person in a group of strangers.
